Terms of Service

These terms govern the use of Akriva (akriva.ai), a platform that helps coaching institutes create AI-drafted, expert-verified test papers, conduct computer-based tests, and analyse results. By creating an account or taking a test on Akriva, you agree to these terms.

The service

Akriva provides tools for drafting question papers, verifying them, conducting NTA-style computer-based tests, and generating performance analysis and reports. AI-drafted questions pass automated verification and are then approved by the institute's faculty — final academic responsibility for a paper rests with the institute that publishes it.

Accounts and responsibilities

• Institute owners and teachers must provide accurate account information and keep credentials safe.
• Institutes are responsible for the student data they enter and for having the right to use it (see our Privacy Policy).
• Students must take tests themselves, without unauthorised assistance. Exam-integrity signals (such as tab switches) are recorded during tests and shared with the conducting institute.

Acceptable use

• No reselling, scraping, or bulk-extracting question content or platform data.
• No attempting to bypass verification, access controls, or exam-integrity measures.
• No uploading unlawful content or content you don't have rights to.

Content ownership

Institutes own the papers they create and approve on Akriva and may export and use them for their own teaching. Akriva owns the platform, software and design. We may use de-identified, aggregated data to improve question quality and analytics.

Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. Every plan starts with a free trial that requires no card. Prices are listed on the site and exclude GST unless stated. Cancellation and refunds are covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

No outcome guarantees

Akriva provides preparation tools and analytics. We do not guarantee ranks, scores, admission outcomes, or that any question will or will not appear in an actual examination.

Availability and liability

We aim for high availability but the service is provided “as is” without warranties of uninterrupted operation. To the extent permitted by law, Akriva's total liability for any claim is limited to the subscription fees paid by the institute in the three months before the claim arose.

Termination

You may stop using Akriva at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical. On termination, institutes may request an export of their papers and student results within 30 days.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and courts in India have exclusive jurisdiction.
