Akriva (“we”, “us”) provides a test-lifecycle platform for JEE / NEET coaching institutes and students at akriva.ai. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We build for classrooms, so we keep this in plain language.
We do not sell personal data. We do not show advertising. Student performance data is visible only to the student, their institute, and (via reports the institute shares) their parents.
Akriva uses AI systems to draft and verify exam questions from syllabus material. Student personal data is never sent to AI models. Question generation works from syllabus and question content only, and every AI-drafted question is verified before it can reach a student.
Data is stored with our infrastructure providers — Supabase (database and authentication) and Vercel (hosting) — and protected in transit with TLS encryption. Payments, when enabled, are processed by Razorpay; we never store card details.
Most students on Akriva are minors. Institutes act as the responsible party for the student data they enter, including obtaining any consent required from parents or guardians. Parents can raise any question about their child's data through the institute or directly at hello@akriva.ai.
We keep data for as long as the account or institute relationship is active. Institutes can archive or delete student records from their dashboard. On written request we delete an account and its personal data within 30 days, except records we must keep for legal or billing reasons.
In line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and may withdraw consent where processing is based on it. Write to hello@akriva.ai — we respond within 7 working days.
If this policy changes materially, we will note it here with a new date and inform account holders by email. Questions? hello@akriva.ai.
